Delivery appointments will be scheduled through May 16, 2026, and in-person food appointments will be scheduled through June 13, 2026. After June 13, no further appointments through CCHASM will be available.

CCHASM has no remaining funds for utility assistance and cannot accept or process additional requests.

 

For Donors and Sponsors:

CCHASM is no longer actively fundraising. Any funds received will be used for final closeout costs and to support legacy transfers to area nonprofits.

As a community connector for crisis support, CCHASM partners with trusted churches and agencies across Central Virginia to link individuals and families to food, utility relief, and a path forward.

Food Assistance

We work with 15 regional pantry partners to provide nonperishable groceries and essential items to individuals and families facing a crisis.

Utility Assistance

When a household is at risk of losing power, water, or heat, we help eligible families apply for emergency utility support through local service providers.

CCHASM is no longer able to offer utility assistance.
We are unable to accept or process any further requests.

Home Delivery

In partnership with DoorDash, we deliver groceries to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others who are unable to access a pantry in person.

Each year, CCHASM provides meal bags and grocery gift cards to help thousands of families celebrate Thanksgiving at home. It’s a long-standing tradition that brings comfort, connection, and support when it’s needed most.
